Great start to a great series!
Review of The Sword of Shannara
This is the very first series I ever read. It's also the first fantasy series I read (my mom had read me Tolkien, but I am not counting that). I happened on the third book in the series and read a random chapter; I like it so much I went back to the start. I was so shocked to learn how many books there were! But now I know fantasy series tend to be very long :)
